Giving Advice and Making Recommendations

In class we used expressions like "you need to", "you should", and "you might like to" but if you want more variety of expressions, or just to explore the topic further, you could have a look at what kind of advice British readers of the Guardian newspaper give about Japan, or try the lonely planet website.
